Gordon Russell Extending Dining Table from 1950s
A wonderful, extending dining table from Gordon Russell. Fully restored and professionally finished, it is now in outstanding condition.
Part of the Camden furniture range and made from mahogany and Indian laurel, the table dates from the 1950s. It comfortably seats six adults.
The table features a superbly grained top graining which runs its full width/length. The graining is maintained in the centre piece, making it a particularly attractive piece with its slightly bowed ends and elegant, elliptical legs
The centre piece extends its length to more than 230cm, making a magnificent table capable of seating 8 to 10 adults comfortably. The central section can be taken out and stored away neatly under the table top, when not required.
Both the top and centre section are unmarked and the legs show only very minor signs of wear; entirely consistent with its age. The Gordon Russell manufacturer’s marque is clearly visible underneath.
All images show the table extended (centre section in place)
It can be collected from our workshops at Alfriston in East Sussex. We also offer a courier service throughout the UK and mainland Europe; shipping costs are not included, so please enquire about the costs and options.
